These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ReelMeal mobile application ("App") operated by Edge Analytics ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ReelMeal, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

ReelMeal is a recipe management app that allows you to:

• Import recipes from video platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) using AI-powered extraction
• Manually create and edit recipes
• Organize recipes into cookbooks
• Generate shopping lists from recipes
• Use an AI cooking assistant (Sous Chef)
• Sync data across your devices via iCloud

3. Account and Sign In

ReelMeal offers optional Sign in with Apple for account creation. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID. You may delete your account at any time from within the App's Settings.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Tier

ReelMeal offers a free tier with limited AI imports (5 imports) and manual recipe entry.

Premium Subscription

ReelMeal Premium is available as an auto-renewable subscription in the following tiers:

• Premium Weekly — $3.99 USD per week (or local equivalent), billed weekly
• Premium Yearly — $39.99 USD per year (or local equivalent), billed annually

Pricing in your local currency, including any applicable taxes, is shown on the in-app purchase confirmation screen before you complete the transaction.

Subscription terms:

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price as the original subscription
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store after purchase
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

Premium Features

Premium subscribers get access to:

• Unlimited AI recipe imports
• Cookbook creation and organization
• Shared cookbooks with other users
• AI Sous Chef cooking assistant

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all recipes, cookbooks, and other content you create in ReelMeal. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you import or create does not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights.

6. AI-Generated Content

ReelMeal uses AI services to extract recipes from videos and photos, and to provide cooking assistance. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. You should always use your judgment when following recipes, especially regarding food safety, allergens, and cooking temperatures.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's services or servers
• Use automated means to access the App beyond its intended functionality
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by Edge Analytics and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written consent.

9. Third-Party Services

ReelMeal integrates with third-party services including Google Gemini AI, Apify, RevenueCat, and Apple iCloud. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Recipe information extracted by AI may not be fully accurate — always verify ingredients, quantities, and cooking instructions.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Edge Analytics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to damages related to food preparation based on AI-extracted recipes.

12. Account Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the App's Settings. Upon deletion, your local data, iCloud data, and account credentials will be permanently removed. Active subscriptions should be canceled separately through the App Store.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Slovak Republic, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

16. Apple-Specific Terms

These Terms are between you and Edge Analytics, not with Apple Inc. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to the App. In the event of any failure of the App, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if applicable). Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App or your use of it.
